Road Maintenance Crew (AmeriCorps)

Job description: Maintenance of highways, retention ponds and outfall ditches, municipal and rural roads, and rights-of-way. • Duties include mowing, edging, sweeping, litter removal, brush removal, tree removal, sign washing, and occasional fencing and guardrail repair. • On the job training aimed towards teaching young adults new skills. Ages 18-35 preferred but not exclusive. • AmeriCorps Education Awards available for eligible candidates from 675- and 900-hour terms.
