In collaboration with the Darrington Public School District's food and nutrition program, this project will enhance healthy future options while educating students, the community, and partners with healthy food options and awareness. This project aims to have students and others understand the holistic value of healthy eating while utilizing the resources on hand. Many students and their families do not have the resources or knowledge to adequately prepare sustainable meals.

Member Duties : Create community partnerships and recruit volunteers to help bring awareness of healthy nutrition and its' benefits. Members will utilize best practices and gather nutritional documents and recipes which will assist volunteers in facilitating group nutrition forums and marketing materials. Partner with American Heart Association and create a sustainable recipe book. Create a curriculum for instructing students on the importance of plant evolution - from seed to table. Begin a community-wide compositing site
