Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation Program Assistant

The Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation (LGMF) is a nonprofit organization that is now part of Public Health AmeriCorps — AmeriCorps and Center for Disease Control’s new national service program. We help families navigate the caregiving process and give them support so they can care for their loved one. Our center provides health education on brain diseases like dementia, Alzheimer's, etc. We also hold caregiving support groups, grief support groups, holistic workshops as well as short term respite care and resources. Our mission is to help family caregivers cope with Alzheimer’s & chronic illness through tips, strategies, & support. Our vision is to reset, elevate and amplify the caregiving conversation. Our goal is to make caregivers better, stronger and more resilient, creating better outcomes for the person being cared for and for the caregiver themselves.
