Member Duties : The AmeriCorps member will be responsible for providing housing placement/assistance services to domestic violence survivors and their children, and financially vulnerable households experiencing homelessness and other unstable living situations. In order to meet the goals of the program, the AmeriCorps member will provide the following services:
• Provide beneficiaries with individualized services designed to increase housing stability;
• Work collaboratively with Interval House's shelter and housing programs to connect beneficiaries to supportive services that address their victimization and support housing retention; and
• Participate in community outreach (e.g., domestic violence education, landlord engagement and relationship building, service partner collaborations, etc.) to strengthen engagement with partners to build community resources and support program sustainability
