The Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) believes in the transformational power of work, and our vision is that anyone with a criminal record who wants to work has the preparation and support needed to find a job and to stay connected to the labor force. VISTA Members at CEO will support local sites seeking to change the status quo for individuals returning home from incarceration. Leaders are responsible for the recruitment, professional development, and first-layer support of VISTA members.

Member Duties : Two Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) AmeriCorps VISTA Leaders will support a 21-member multi-state project that seeks to change the status quo for individuals returning home from incarceration. Each VISTA Leader will assist with recruitment and reporting, coordinate member training and professional development opportunities, and develop unified tools for VISTAs to track resource development, volunteer engagement, and partnership-building activities. Please note that prior AmeriCorps service is required for Leaders.
