2022-Broward College Peer Mentoring and Leadership Program
 
 
 
Broward College's Peer Mentoring Program will serve low-income, first generation, first time in college, minority students and students facing barrier to their success in post-secondary education through the nationally established evidence-based PeerForward mentoring program in Broward County, Florida. At the end of the program year, AmeriCorps members will help current Broward College students overcome barriers to their success in college, as well as increase their academic preparedness and efficacy to ensure persistence and completion of a degree or training program. This program will focus on the CNCS focus area of Education. The ideal candidate should be a current Broward College student or recent alumni of no more than 2 years. for more information and recruitment opportunities, visit our program website at www.broward.edu/mentoring.

Member Duties : Provide one on one and group Peer Mentoring other Broward College students Participate in student success campaigns such as class registration, FAFSA, and more Serve the community through various service opportunity such as food distribution and more Collaborate in teams with PeerForward coaches to build skills Complete various professional development and training and more....
