Members will provide capacity building services to improve physical, mental, and social health and well-being and/or address social determinants of health. A cohesive and connective multi-model network that provides recreational and transportation options for all people. 3. Local settings (hospitals, communities and neighborhoods, schools, early care centers, worksites, and faith institutions) that promote healthy choices and behaviors. 4. Strong community-clinical partnerships that help prevent/ and manage chronic disease. 5. Inclusive public spaces that foster social connection. 6. Address 1 of the 5 SDOH domains as defined in Healthy People 2030. Members will also participate in ongoing training throughout the term to learn more about the public health sector. BWFVAC will have multiple service term options during the 2024-2025 AmeriCorps Service year (9/1/24-8/31/25). Each service term option will have a full-time service position option (about 35-40 hours/week) and a half-time service position option (18-25 ours/week). During the service term, members will receive a living allowance, health insurance (positions that average 35-40 hours/week as noted on the position description), childcare benefit (positions that average 35-40 hours/week as noted on the position description), and an education award to use towards qualified student loans and/or tuition costs after successful completion of the program.
