Planting Resilience
 
 
 
We are seeking individuals to join the AmeriCorps program and work with TreePeople staff to learn how to grow a greener, shadier community through our urban tree planting and care projects in local communities (Lynwood, Watts, San Fernando Valley, etc.) and gain skills to assist with wildfire prevention and forest restoration projects in the Angeles National Forest and the Santa Monica Mountains.

Member Duties : AmeriCorps members will support urban tree planting and care, wildland restoration, and volunteer opportunities. Activities will include tree planting, tree care, invasive species abatement, data collection, and volunteer engagement/coordination.
