Goodwill PHA - Central NH PHN Volunteer Coordinator

The Central NH PHN serves 18 communities that make up the Central NH region. In NH, local community partners collaborate to develop regional response plans for public health emergencies. The NH Department of Health and Human Services designates the service area for each Public Health Network (PHN). The Central NH PHR is one of thirteen regions statewide. The Central NH PHR includes: Alexandria, Ashland, Bristol, Bridgewater, Campton, Ellsworth, Groton, Hebron, Holderness, Lincoln, Livermore (unincorporated), Plymouth, Rumney, Thornton, Warren, Waterville Valley, Wentworth, and Woodstock. The PHR is in Grafton County. The Central NH PHN collaborates with partner agencies to develop public health emergency communications, services, and programs that do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, nationality, sex, age, disability, English proficiency, economic status, immigration status, sexual orientation, or gender identity. The Regional Public Health Emergency Annex (RPHEA) provides the organizational and operational framework to prepare for, respond to, and recover from public health emergencies in the Central NH PHR. The RPHEA is intended to be an annex to the Local Emergency Operations Plan (LEOP) for each town in the PHR. The RPHEA is a supporting document to the Local Emergency Operations Plan (LEOP) and does not replace or supersede it. The RPHEA provides for the equitable and impartial provision of public health response services in compliance with state and federal laws. Each PHN employs a Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Coordinator to support planning, preparedness, and response efforts. This position with the Central PHN, fiscal agent Mid-State Health Center, will aim to bolster recruitment, engagement, and retention efforts, update unit member support documents as well as coordinate, train, and track regional volunteer service hours. These activities will build the region’s COVID-19 response capacity within the Central NH region.
