The Health Systems Division (HSD) of OHA works with partners statewide to build and advance a system of care to create a healthy Oregon. This includes managing the Oregon Health Plan (OHP), Oregon's Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program. HSD ensures that health system transformation works for all Oregonians in a number of ways, including such as making the OHP member experience simpler and easier, developing business and operational policies for the Oregon Health Plan, addiction services and behavioral health delivery systems, and more. OHA created the Health Systems Division in 2015 by combining the Medical Assistance Programs (MAP) and Addictions and Mental Health (AMH) divisions. All the work our division does is to ensure that individuals and families can get the physical and mental health services they need. With the OHP, the goal is to serve low-income community members and alleviate poverty while ensuring that each Oregon can play, live and have optimal health. The person in this position would live in or around Portland, Oregon. We are not far from the beach, or mountains. If you like to hike, ski or run, there is something here for you. A successful candidate would have excellent communication skills and a desire to learn. We value applicants who can bring lived experience to further OHA’s strategic goal to eliminate health inequities by 2030.
