Muhammad Ali Center Development VISTA

Through its youth programming, initiatives, and partnerships, the Muhammad Ali Center strives to support economically disadvantaged populations through comprehensive educational and service-based programming that will enrich their lives on their personal journeys to greatness. The VISTA Project will build the capacity of the MAC by developing a sustainable donations management system to support its youth programming. The VISTA will analyze and evaluate the MAC's current efforts in fundraising, membership efforts, and partnerships in reaching fundraising and resource goals; will research best practices for donations management and fund development; will develop outreach systems to build partnerships with potential funders, organization members, and stakeholders; and will create or revise policies, procedures, and documents to develop and expand diversified funding streams for the organization. This capacity-building project will improve the effectiveness of the organization’s fundraising, membership recruitment and retention, partnership development, and grant writing process in order to expand the MAC's programmatic reach to a new population of impoverished, post-HS youth.
