School on Wheels, Inc. is a nonprofit organization made up of hundreds of volunteers who give their time and talents to support the educational needs of children (K-12) experiencing homelessness who have a daily struggle in accomplishing their number one job: learning. School on Wheels (SOW) mission is to enhance educational opportunities for children experiencing homelessness, from kindergarten through the twelfth grade. Our goal is to shrink the gaps in their education and provide them with the highest quality education possible.

Member Duties : To strengthen and sustain the SOW High School (BUS) Program, the VISTA High SchoolCoordinator (HSC) will develop, test, and establish programs and processes that will enable ourorganization to provide more effective and specialized support to students in grades 9 through12. The VISTA HSC will operate collaboratively and cross-functionally within and outside of theorganization to support in the design, tracking, and evaluation of our high school students’academic outcomes and graduation rates, manage and expand our partnerships (includingMeta/EdMod and Jusdeep), and ensure the sustainability of our high school initiatives.
