Opportunity Council - Treatment & Recovery VISTA
 
 
 
The VISTA Men’s Low Intensity Residential Program Project Coordinator at Lifeline Connections will build capacity for the new Men's Low Intensity Residential Treatment program and recovery services for low income adults with behavioral health disorders in Whatcom County by researching and identifying activities and events, strengthening volunteer systems and maintaining strong relationships with community partners, and continuing research and analysis around the opening of a drop-in recovery resource center to further increase access to care in the community. Sustained recovery from behavioral health disorders leads to economic improvement, financial self-sufficiency, and improved quality of life.

Member Duties : Build capacity at the Men's Low Intensity Residential Treatment Program by researching and identifying activities and events for residents that will support treatment and recovery for low-income individuals with behavioral health disorders. Build capacity and provide program enrichment by strengthening volunteer systems and maintaining strong relationships with community partners. Research and analysis of establishing a drop-in recovery resource center to extend treatment support beyond release from house and support long-term recovery for low-income individuals with behavioral health disorders in the community.
