AmeriCorps VISTA Climate Change at Subject to Climate

SubjectToClimate (StC) is a nonprofit online connector for K-12 educators of all subjects to identify unbiased and engaging materials on climate change at no cost. This organization has joined other New Jersey organizations to form the NJ Climate Change Education Initiative (NJCCEI). This initiative came together to develop an online tool (NJ Climate Change Education Hub) to support educators in their effort to teach the new climate change education standards.

Member Duties : VISTAs will be working with schools in New Jersey to build capacity on-the-ground to support educators as New Jersey is embarking on a groundbreaking mission to integrate climate change across all subject areas and grade levels. The VISTA will be joining our global and remote team in our mission to make climate change teaching and learning accessible to all.
