Providing Access to Court Services
 
 
 
he Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County, the 4th largest general jurisdiction Court system in the nation, seeks enthusiastic volunteers to serve during the 2022 - 2023 year (September 1, 2022, through August 31, 2023). PACS/AmeriCorps Members provide direct customer service to self-represented litigants in various situations within a self-service environment; handle a variety of requests, inquiries, and complaints from litigants and the general public; attend and participate in training; assist court customers with finding needed services or locations; and become knowledgeable about various community resources. Track all interactions with customers and court staff using a dedicated computer tracking system. Participate in other activities, such as a service day on a weekend to assist the community and share information about the AmeriCorps program.

Member Duties : Provide direct customer service to litigants in various situations within a self-service environment; handle a variety of requests, inquiries, and complaints from litigants and the general public. Track services using computer software. Attend other activities, such as a service day, typically held on weekends and/or evenings. Members provide information about the Law Library Resource Center and PACS/AmeriCorps program.
