2022 Creative Nomads Youth and Families Program Development
The WAS (Where Art Starts) Program Manager Vista will help us implement our innovative and impactful programs with community members and youth and families in the Baltimore Metropolitan area and beyond. Implementation will be achieved through working with our academic and community partners and by directly leading our signature programs to the community. Our goals are: 1. Increase our roster of Learning Leaders. 2. Increase our academic partnerships and strengthen our current partnerships ensuring we conduct at least one art experience each school year with each partner. 3. Increase our community partnerships and strengthen our current partnerships ensuring we partner for at least one art experience each calendar year with each partner. 4. Design a comprehensive database of our partners that tracks the contacts, the events we lead with them, the number of participants impacted, and feedback or notes. 5. Design a comprehensive database of the families we work with directly through our signature programs including their contact information, number of family members, schools, other identifying information and their geographic location in Baltimore or the state 6. Increase recruitment of participants for our signature programs by elevated marketing materials and by building relationships with other community stakeholders. 7. Design comprehensive trainings and team building experiences for our Learning Leaders that ensure access to certifications, updated best practices, peer learning and craft sharpening, and increased team building and relationship building.

Member Duties : PROGRAM MANAGEMENT: •Identifying and recruiting potential Learning Leaders (program facilitators/teachers) for our youth and family programs •Assist with onboarding and acclimating our Learning Leaders •Assist with engaging and corresponding with our academic and community partner contacts ADMINISTRATIVE: •Assist with gathering documentation for attendance, evaluations, grant reports, etc. •Assist with designing Learning Leader trainings and retreats •Assist with building databases to capture information about our partners and the families we work with directly •Assist with gathering program evaluations from our partners and from participating families COMMUNICATIONS: •Assist with creating a weekly blog post and email blasts for the youth and families program •Assist with updating website, social media platforms and electronic newsletters with youth and family program information
