AmeriCorps VISTA Community Center at Rowan University
The VISTA will research and develop ideas and action plans to we would be to enhance current efforts through networking and collaboration with members of the Coalition of Community Resource Centers (CRC). Documenting the experiences and success stories of other CRCs will identify areas for growth and greater contribution.

Member Duties : The Community Centers VISTA member for Rowan University will network with campus staff and students involved in the SHOP and related initiatives to learn about existing efforts and connect with their counterparts among the Coalition of Community Resource Centers. This exploration of the practices of various organizations and institutions will culminate in comparative asset mapping to highlight unrealized areas of potential strength and/or need and identify strategies, including partnerships and fund-raising, that would increase Rowan’s capacity and level of contribution. The VISTA member will also review how community resource centers fit within the institutional mission, including how they are supported and how they are measured.
