The Hudson County Community College (HCCC) Healthcare Coordinator VISTA will be located in Jersey City in the Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Development. The Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Development (CEWD) is an exciting and entrepreneurial office within the College which offers a wide variety of non-credit classes, courses, seminars and training sessions for the community. These offerings are focused on revitalizing careers, upgrading skills and credentials, growing businesses and pursuing pastimes and passions. Additionally, the HCCC Center for Business & Industry (CBI) is the area leader in developing and serving the educational training needs for Hudson County’s businesses, organizations and individuals.

Member Duties : This position would include but not limited to community outreach, recruitment, onboarding, student support resources & data tracking, research, employer contact, and program design to: Ensure proper record-keeping based on funder guidelines for healthcare training programs, ensure compliance with regulations, contribute to forecasting and tracking project expenses, coordinate ongoing healthcare training courses and track course/enrollment outcomes; write emails, articles, reports, social media; attend and conduct meetings to develop successful healthcare training practices; provide student support services to ensure student success and connect students to academic and non-academic resources; participate in program evaluation and build the healthcare training program infrastructure.
