Member Duties : The Waste Prevention and Reduction Specialist will support the City of Vancouver’s work to decrease waste and improve community recycling. They will coordinate and deliver trainings on how to proper recycling and reducing food waste; table community events and meetings to engage diverse members of our community; train and support community litter volunteers; coordinate with internal and external partners to expand litter removal; track volunteer data; assist with outreach that connects litter removal with climate change.
