CRC VISTA Leader

Join Community Resource Center (CRC), a Denver based nonprofit whose mission is to support, strengthen, and galvanize change-makers across the nonprofit ecosystem, working together to create a more equitable Colorado. The Rural Capacity Building Project engages VISTA members across the state of Colorado who are serving with rural nonprofits in various capacities. CRC is uniquely positioned as a nonprofit leader and convener in Colorado, with a special interest in serving rural communities and hard to reach populations. The VISTA Leader (VL) with CRC will engage VISTA members serving across Colorado; ensuring both members and host sites are having a positive experience, meeting performance measures, and addressing poverty in the low-income community they serve. In this role, the VL will create innovative and sustainable tools and systems to strengthen CRC’s VISTA project, as the project grows and adjusts to better meet the needs of nonprofits in Colorado. The VL will serve as a critical bridge between members, supervisors, and the larger CRC AmeriCorps VISTA Program Team. The VL will build trust with both members and supervisors and generate excitement around being a part of a national service project. The National Service Program Team is one part of a robust, collaborative, and fast paced environment at CRC. CRC is seeking a champion of national service to serve as an advocate and leader for VISTAs serving in our program. This role offers opportunities to gain skills in relationship building and networking, facilitation and curriculum development, volunteer recruitment and retainment, and nonprofit best practices.
