ICAST Marketing Research VISTA
 
 
 
Create triple bottom line benefits (economic, environmental, and social) for low-moderate income tenants that live in multifamily housing, improving quality of life and reducing poverty. Bolster existing data and research collection projects, improving ICAST’s overall expertise in the communities it serves and improve long-term evaluation processes. Streamline and reduce inefficiencies within current standard operating procedures, reducing time and dollar sinks. Improve and innovate utilizing new systems and technologies within the energy, housing, and nonprofit industries. The ICAST Marketing Research VISTA will work directly with the Marketing department to research and analyze data related to multifamily affordable housing markets in multiple states, developing marketing content highlighting the benefits of energy efficiency upgrades, creating press releases, and conducting outreach to owners and residents of said communities. We are looking for individuals who have the following: -Associate Degree (or equivalent experience); Bachelor’s degree preferred -Solid communication skills (both oral and writing) -Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and communicate effectively -Strong work ethic -Flexibility and dependability -Ability to work independently on tasks to complete projects -Ability to prioritize and track work, tasks, activities, and events -Strong organizational skills -Basic proficiency in a software suite (preferably Microsoft Office) -Experience with content development platforms (e.g. the Adobe Creative Suite)

Member Duties : -Researching, assembling, and presenting reports that collect and analyze market research data, customer data, and competitor data by consolidating, summarizing, and formatting information into formats that optimize readability -Auditing, editing, and optimizing current content and marketing materials -Developing, creating, and delivering fresh content (e.g. press releases, media relations content, social media content, case studies, video content, etc.). -Conducting business development outreach with strategic partners within the sustainable, affordable housing, and workforce development communities -Providing general support to the marketing and business development departments -Collaborate with the Business Development Department on additional projects on an as-needed basis in a capacity building manner (e.g. help the department source potential funding opportunities resulting from passed legislation)
