2022 MENTOR Maryland Program Outreach & Support
Having the opportunity to work with MENTOR Maryland DC, one of the newest statewide affiliates of the National Mentoring Partnership (, is truly a dream come true! We are the champions of quality mentoring, movement builders and are currently operating at the intersection of the energy and innovation of a startup, the social promise of a non-profit with the strong push for results as a mature private sector business. This simply means there is never a dull moment! We welcome those with a love and passion to see young people win and folks who aren’t afraid to roll their sleeves up for a mission. We are excited to present our VISTAs the opportunity to make a mark on an organization that is growing while working to fulfill the promise of young people around the state through high quality mentoring. We are also excited to be officially expanding our services into the DC market, so this VISTA will also play an integral role in outreach and support in DC Public Schools and other DC based stakeholders. Lastly, because MENTOR Maryland DC is an intermediary (indirect service provider) you must be passionate about positive outcomes for young people but be interested in achieving these outcomes through high-level systems change work, which has become one of the hallmarks of our organization. If this is you, JOIN US!
