Central College, Seed Co

Community-Based Learning is committed to engaging students, faculty and community members in sustained partnerships that foster collaborative learning and civic participation in a diverse society. The Central College VISTA will strengthen the college's relationship with local nonprofits who serve under-resourced individuals, families, and children. These efforts will expand our students’ cultural awareness and intercultural competence. These collaborations will enable all the college community to better engage for the common good as volunteers while expanding their understanding of service and DEIJ. The VISTA project will address the needs of our community partners and simultaneously prepare our students for responsible global citizenship.¿ This project is part of the Community Corps VISTA Program, operated by Seed Coalition. The program strives to eliminate poverty through campus-community partnerships by placing capacity building support in higher education and nonprofit organizations. ***Please also send cover letter and resume to supervisor. Interviews will occur on a rolling basis. Preference given to candidates who apply early.***
