2022 MD DC MENTOR School Based Mentoring Support
We believe that in order to expand mentoring relationships to as many of the young people in Maryland and DC as possible, strong partnerships are needed between MENTOR Maryland DC and the school districts across the State. To that end, MENTOR Maryland DC has started, as the first of many, partnerships with Baltimore City Public Schools and Montgomery County Public Schools. The object is to expand quality mentoring across these districts, including continuing support of the recently launched Future Ready Career Mentoring Program pilot in conjunction with Baltimore City Public Schools during the 2020-2021 school year, but will also include new support work beginning in partnership with Montgomery County Public Schools. This ambitious work will not be possible without the high-level support from an excited, capable AmeriCorps VISTA member. We hope that is YOU!
