Maine Campus Compact (22-23)

Campus Compact for New Hampshire's AmeriCorps VISTA project connects change-makers to critical projects supporting low-income students at K-12 schools, colleges, and universities across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Members build capacity within these educational institutions to fight poverty. This program provides members with up-to-date professional development preparing them for careers after service. These skills also give members the tools and knowledge to provide great service to their site. Members will serve in a cohort model that creates an opportunity to learn from peers, share their own experience in the program, and create a community of like-minded individuals. If you are ready to make a difference, our program wants you to serve here in Northern New England!

Member Duties : Maine Campus Compact is a coalition of 17 member campuses whose purpose is to catalyze and lead a movement to reinvigorate the public purposes and civic mission of higher education. We seek to transform our campuses in ways that develop better informed, active citizen problem-solvers, stronger communities, and a more just democratic society. We believe that our campuses must be vital agents and architects of a flourishing democracy.
