Campus Compact - Nashua Community College (22-23)
 
 
 
Campus Compact for New Hampshire's AmeriCorps VISTA project connects change-makers to critical projects supporting low-income students at K-12 schools, colleges, and universities across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Members build capacity within these educational institutions to fight poverty. This program provides members with up-to-date professional development preparing them for careers after service. These skills also give members the tools and knowledge to provide great service to their site. Members will serve in a cohort model that creates an opportunity to learn from peers, share their own experience in the program, and create a community of like-minded individuals. If you are ready to make a difference, our program wants you to serve here in Northern New England!

Member Duties : Nashua Community College is a small, public Community College located in Nashua, NH. NCC's mission is to provide quality, academically rigorous, higher Education programs focused on the diverse needs of students and the community. Nashua Community College helps students improve their lives and become more responsible as informed citizens and educated persons. The college community has defined a set of essential skills to maximize one's role as a contributing member of society. Among those skills are communications, information literacy, scientific reasoning, quantitative analysis, ethical responsibility, critical thinking, global connectedness, and tolerance for ambiguity.
