Campus Compact - GEAR UP NH Stakeholder Engagement (22-23)
 
 
 
Campus Compact for New Hampshire's AmeriCorps VISTA project connects change-makers to critical projects supporting low-income students at K-12 schools, colleges, and universities across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Members build capacity within these educational institutions to fight poverty. This program provides members with up-to-date professional development preparing them for careers after service. These skills also give members the tools and knowledge to provide great service to their site. Members will serve in a cohort model that creates an opportunity to learn from peers, share their own experience in the program, and create a community of like-minded individuals. If you are ready to make a difference, our program wants you to serve here in Northern New England!

Member Duties : The Stakeholder Engagement Specialist will work along side the GEAR UP New Hampshire Leadership Team to support programming for low-income/first-gen students between GEAR UP Schools and NH Higher Ed institutions. They will assist with the creation and development of parent and care taker programming in GEAR UP communities. The member will partner with NH Scholars and create sustainable partnerships with business leaders in the community. Finally, they will assist in building sustainable distribution practices for the GEAR UP NH Scholarship.
