Opportunity Council - WFCN Youth Mental Health VISTA

WFCN promotes the well-being of children, youth and families by convening and supporting communities to build their capacity. We do this through coalitions focused on youth substance use prevention and mental wellbeing promotion. In this project, we focus building capacity in the areas of child/youth mental health by collaborating to improve or create systems that increase protective factors and reduce risk aligned with the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) as part of the Healthy Whatcom effort. Increase access to resources, community education and youth engagement, while promoting mental wellbeing.
