The Ingham County Health Department VISTA Program focuses on building the capacity of Ingham County organizations in the areas of education, economic opportunity, and access to care. The program emphasizes the importance of professional development and personal growth, while creating an exceptional AmeriCorps VISTA experience for our members during the service term. Each member in our program is passionate about some area of community development and is aware of the importance of the work that they are doing for our Ingham county community.

Member Duties : The VISTA member will work with Care Free Medical to help low-income community members access medical care by: assisting in fundraising event planning; Provide local data to support grant implementation and ongoing evaluation; Explore funding and support grant writing and applications; communicate with public about goals and projects of Care Free Medical; and more tasks built around your interests! Rolling application deadlines - apply when you are ready!
