West Homewood Summer Associate - FSI
 
 
 
The goal of our project is to help take care of Alabama farmers and growers through the West Homewood Farmer’s Market and to provide healthy food resources and education to Alabama communities through a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) initiative in West Homewood as well as an education monthly movie night featuring agriculture-related films addressing the needs for eating and shopping locally. Our market is also a resource for women, infants, and children (WIC) as well as Seniors through several nutritional programs.

Member Duties : The Summer Associates will assist with marketing and outreach activities. These activities include but are not limited to; 1. Developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing content calendar & Geo-fencing plan. 2 Review, recommend and implement website changes that are needed. 3. Take photos and video at the market (or anywhere else this is needed) 4. Participate in fundraising and event planning. 5; Help with set up, take down and working the market.
