Civic Innovation VISTA
 
 
 
With a strong record of developing reciprocal, respectful, active, and democratic partnerships, George Washington University (GW) in downtown Washington DC is seeking a VISTA to serve as Civic Innovation VISTA with the Honey W. Nashman Center for Civic Engagement and Public Service. The Civic Innovation VISTA will collaborate with DCPS school partners, and community-based organizations to implement DEI and service-learning programming in Title I middle and high schools in Washington DC. This is a full-time (40hrs a week) 12-month service term with the GWServes AmeriCorps VISTA Project.

Member Duties : A successful Civic Innovation VISTA will need to perform successfully: -Ability to collaborate on strategic planning, needs assessment, and implementation of training sessions for volunteers. -Experience with data collection and assessment. -Ability to implement experiential DEI curriculum with middle school students. -Experience in service-learning. -Ability to work independently, take initiative, and achieve goals.
