Campus Compact UMASS Boston U-Access

The UMASS Boston AmeriCorps member will be responsible for data collection and assessment, sustaining current and new relationships with campus partners, enhancing current standard procedures for the EHP, increasing the availability and quality of services available, and building the overall capacity of the program. The EHP AmeriCorps member will be entering the program at a unique and exciting time where there will be a plethora of room for growth and new ideas, support from a variety of stakeholders, and a serious need for the responsibilities of the AmeriCorps member. The AmeriCorps member will not only be able to help build the program but also network and connect with individuals across the nation who have a vital stake in alleviating homelessness and housing insecurity among college students. The biweekly living allowance for this position is $1027.88. In addition to the benefits listed, the host site will provide a public transit pass, a parking pass, and professional development and training opportunities. The AmeriCorps member serving at UMASS Boston will be part of a dynamic, motivated corps with Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA. Serving as a member of a corps provides the chance to connect with other members throughout multiple states, create a network of support, and share resources. As the intermediary, Campus Compact, a national non-profit, supports the professional and personal growth of AmeriCorps members through a variety of professional development opportunities and in-person trainings including overnight retreats throughout their service year. If you would like to learn more about serving with Campus Compact, please email our VISTA Leaders at vista@compact.org.
