Virginia Housing Alliance’s (VHA) AmeriCorps VISTA project is a statewide intermediary project with 18 Host Sites, all that either work to expand affordable housing opportunities and/or end homelessness throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. VHA’s VISTA project aims to develop viable communities by promoting integrated approaches that provide decent housing, suitable living environments, and expansive economic opportunities for low and moderate-income persons. This listing is to fill the Host Site opening at True Ground Housing Partners (TGHP) located in Arlington, VA. True Ground Housing Partners (formerly APAH) was founded in 1989 to address affordable housing needs in Arlington, VA. Now a leading nonprofit developer, True Ground provides safe, high-quality homes to more than 5,000 residents across the DC Metro region, serving households earning 30–80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). TGHP’s mission is to provide quality affordable housing and resident-centered programming to help their residents make the most of their home. In addition to owning and operating multi-family properties, True Ground offers Resident Services coordination and programming across our portfolio. Resident Services staff provide a wide variety of programming and one-on-one assistance including community events and dinners, holiday celebrations, free fresh groceries distributed on-site, afterschool learning and summer camp programs, and much more. With a rapidly growing team, portfolio, and variety of programming, True Ground has an ongoing need for more capacity with regards to database management, data analysis, process and policy development to support our Resident Services program. TGHP is seeking a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented individual to serve as the Data Analyst VISTA member to increase capacity with regards to database management, data analysis, process and policy development to support their Resident Services program.

Member Duties : The VISTA member will support True Ground’s Resident Services team by maintaining the Apricot 360 CRM database, including data entry, cleaning, dashboard monitoring, and tracking key metrics. They will conduct program evaluations, such as the Resident Needs Assessment, by developing surveys, analyzing data, and creating reports and visualizations for stakeholders. Additionally, the VISTA will contribute to our new Single Source of Truth Initiative and lead an independent project in a focus area like eviction prevention or food security. This role offers valuable experience in database management, data analysis, and program evaluation while contributing to True Ground’s mission of providing impactful resident-centered services.
