This VISTA opportunity will create and build sustainability for the Village Housing Trust. The Village Housing Trust will develop and manage affordable permanent housing for adults with disabilities. Through managing the documents and timelines, the establishment of the Village Housing Trust as a 501c3 nonprofit organization is set to take place by June 2023.

Member Duties : Key activities include: Managing the documents and timeline to register with the Washington State Charitable Trust, Coordinating the recruitment and on boarding of board members, volunteers, and key staff for the Village Housing Trust, conducting cultivation events to establish an individual donor base and stakeholder support for the Village Housing Trust, establishing donor tracking and recognition procedures, and participating in the writing and submission of capital and private grants.
