| Member Duties : In collaboration with the current VISTA, the Summer VISTA member will engage with community organizations to support DP capacity-building in Iowa, train to become a DPW program deliverer, train and support Medical Reserve Corps volunteers to deliver the program, complete documentation, develop program materials, and develop DPW delivery protocols.
The VISTA may need to travel to deliver the DPW program in-person at local libraries or other public locations. The DPW program can provide access to a University of Iowa fleet services vehicle, but VISTAs must have a valid driver's license.
