Member Duties : The AmeriCorps Member plays an important role in our Child Enrichment Programming and is a crucial member of our team. This role will create and facilitate hands on learning through play experiences. They will promote the importance of play by directly engaging with children and families to maximize their learning and enjoyment. The member will assist in the development and distribution of Fairy Kits. These kits follow our Child Enrichment themes of Cultural Expression, Dramatic & Imaginative Play, Empathy & Kindness, and Social-Emotional Development. While children are able to engage in a fun, new activity, parents also receive tips on how to continue the conversation and strengthen the learning through play component of the kit. This also gives an opportunity for parent-child connection and relationship building through play.
