| Member Duties : The VISTA Summer Associates will fight poverty by assisting in the delivery of WIC benefits to clients in Travis and Bastrop Counties and developing new processes to increase program efficiency and fill gaps in service. This will give families in need access to important resources like food and childcare and make it easier for families to receive those services, so that children are properly cared for and do not fall behind during the important 0-5 age range of development. It will also ideally ease families’ financial burden so they can work to bring themselves out of poverty.
