Program VISTA (position full)

Reporting to the Director of Programs, the Program VISTA will help NYFC strengthen its feedback systems to ensure we are accurately meeting the needs of the youth we serve. The VISTA will spend a portion of their time doing data collecting, reporting, and analysis on innovative and signature programs; as well as collecting testimonials and qualitative data and stories from program participants. The Program VISTA will also spend part of their time supporting signature program events and activities, particularly Youth Advisory Board and Peer Mentoring. As the NYFC currently works in a hybrid in-person/remote model, NYFC will ensure that the selected candidates have Internet Access, computers with access to the NYFC database, and receive orientation and training virtually. The VISTA will also be provided with monthly transportation/Metro Cards so they can get to and from the office, and will be reimbursed for use of their cell phones (up to $75 per month). The office is located by Pennsylvania Station in New York City - a very central hub - so any candidates in the region will be able to access the office via public transportation. Priority may be given to local applicants so that they will not need to scramble to find housing.
