| Member Duties : The Youth Programs Summer Associate will build the capacity of Breakpoint Tennis & Life Skills Academy by supporting Breakpoint’s summer tennis and reading programs at The Highlands’ Golf & Tennis Center in Forest Park, Marquette Park in South St. Louis, Mathews’ Dickey Boys’ & Girls’ Club, City Academy, and Arthur Ashe Memorial Tennis Courts in the Ville neighborhood. As a result of the Summer Associate’s service, at least 200 children and 20 volunteers will be engaged in youth programs during summer 2022. This project will alleviate poverty by providing physical activity, social-emotional learning, and literacy education, keeping minds and bodies active over summer recess, and establishing mentoring relationships with at-risk youth and caring adults in their community.
