Stream Teams United: Maramec Spring Park VISTA
 
 
 
The member at this site will help increase the capacity of Maramec Spring Park, operated by the James Foundation, to build the youth volunteer program at the park for outdoor stewardship and nature education opportunities for low-income youth. Activities will include recruiting and training volunteers for both youth education activities, outdoor stewardship, and capacity building projects at the park. The member will also help identify donors, sponsors, grants, and partners for building the capacity of education programs and outdoor stewardship projects offered by the park.

Member Duties : The AmeriCorps member at this site will help build the capacity of Maramec Spring Park's volunteer program, for the purposes of expanding the capacity of outdoor education and stewardship programs provided by the park. The member will help recruit, train, and manage volunteers for both outdoor education and stewardship activities. The member will help increase the awareness of nature/education opportunities available at the park and seek to increase the services/opportunities available for low-income youth at the park. The member will help identify donors, sponsor, grants, and partners for building the capacity of education and outdoor stewardship projects at the park.
