Member Duties : The Summer Associate will take ownership of the Community Garden program and assist their supervisor with Farmstand events and workshops. Time will be divided between the physical maintenance of gardens on site at ECDI headquarters and conducting neighborhood outreach and volunteer recruitment for the Community Garden program. Under the supervision of the Food Fort Manager, the Associate will oversee the maintenance and production of the community gardens on site and conduct outreach initiatives to better engage the communities ECDI operates in. The Associate will be responsible for expanding volunteer activities and build the relationship between ECDI and the community through coordinated outreach.
