Campus Compact Manchester CC

MCC is seeking an energetic, experienced problem solver and all-around super-organized person to help our nascent wellness team organize and institutionalize a virtual mental health and wellness resource center. During your year of service, you will help us grow a culture of health and wellness at MCC to provide all community members access to opportunities offered at our campus. Our Healthy Futures goal is to expand access to mental health and wellness support services and provide coordination and training to faculty, staff, and students to build a campus-wide culture that can address student mental health, substance misuse, and suicide prevention. We need help to organize and institutionalize our Wellness Team at MCC as well as design and test an outreach and communication system for the virtual health and wellness center. The biweekly living allowance for this position is $542.22. In addition to the benefits listed, the host site will provide a UPASS, free parking, access to free or reduced courses, and access to a fitness center. The AmeriCorps member serving at Manchester CC will be part of a dynamic, motivated corps with Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA. Serving as a member of a corps provides the chance to connect with other members throughout multiple states, create a network of support, and share resources. As the intermediary, Campus Compact, a national non-profit, supports the professional and personal growth of AmeriCorps members through a variety of professional development opportunities and in-person trainings including overnight retreats throughout their service year. If you would like to learn more about serving with Campus Compact, please email our VISTA Leaders at vista@compact.org.
