The Community Action Committee of Pike County’s mission is to improve the well-being and independence of those we serve. This includes provision of high-quality volunteer management, trainings, and in-services to help us meet the needs of Pike County’s low-income residents. Our focus supports our efforts in collaborating and developing community partnerships to create, manage, and sustain high-quality programs designed to meet the needs of the disenfranchised of our area by reduction of hunger, food insecurity, and all the negative impacts of the devastating institution named Poverty.

Member Duties : As our Summer Associate, you will provide high-quality food boxes for food insecure households in Pike County, Ohio. You will support all aspects of the Mobile Food Pantry Distribution, such as ordering food, disseminating nutritious recipes, and developing high quality programming at our distribution sites. At each site, you will ensure we achieve the highest health and safety standards as you support our events and register households for essential programming. If you are enthusiastic about organizing educational materials and other critical resources for accessible use in the community, this role is for you. Join our team today for an enriching summer!
