Campus Compact College For Social Innovation: Recruitment
 
 
 
The AmeriCorps member serving at the College for Social Innovation as the Recruitment & Marketing AmeriCorps member will develop educational and budget workshops and build partnerships with college success organizations to help low-income college students as well as students of color to prepare for successful careers through career workshops and by gaining access to proven high-impact learning opportunities, including the “Semester in the City” program. The biweekly living allowance for this position is $1,027.88 in Suffolk county. In addition to the benefits listed, the host site will provide monthly benefits that include up to $250 per month in housing reimbursement, up to $100 per month in phone/internet reimbursement, a monthly MBTA pass valued at $90, and access to a $250 annual professional development fund. The AmeriCorps member serving at the College for Social Innovation as the Recruitment AmeriCorps member will be part of a dynamic, motivated corps with Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA. Serving as a member of a corps provides the chance to connect with other members throughout multiple states, create a network of support, and to share resources. As the intermediary, Campus Compact, a national non-profit, supports the professional and personal growth of AmeriCorps members through a variety of professional development opportunities and in-person training including overnight retreats throughout their service year. Member Duties : The AmeriCorps member will: -Support recruiting and admissions efforts at high-need campus partner colleges with a focus on low-income students and students of color. -Design, develop and create recruitment materials and pamphlets in partnership with the Data & Analytics member to promote information sessions, events, and key dates that will help bring awareness to prospective students, including low-income students and students of color. -Conduct research on the benefits of high-impact learning opportunities and on the challenges of access to such programs as they relate to marginalized college students, with a focus on low-income students and students of color. -Work closely with Senior Manager of Communications and Student Recruitment to support the training and management of student ambassadors, alumni of the program who support recruitment efforts at their home campuses.
