Our mission at Perry County Job and Family Services (PCJFS) is to grow economic prosperity and opportunity for residents of all ages and walks of life. At the same time, we aim to increase the opportunity for stability, purpose and meaningfulness of life for all, despite economic challenges. Member Duties : During their term of service our VISTA Member will learn and plan, through collaboration and investigation, how to leverage the County Home Farm asset and the concept of Community Agriculture to best benefit the economic, workforce and community development needs of Perry County as well as providing for increased food security and sustainable, affordable agriculture in our community. The VISTA Member will apply this knowledge in aligning the activities and resources of PCJFS and our many community partners in launching the Community Agriculture Project on the Perry County Home Farm site and sustaining its activities for a year on the site and across the county.
