CCMA UMD Campus Food System Education Project
 
 
 
The CCMA AmeriCorps VISTA member will work to complete three main goals. The CCMA AmeriCorps VISTA member will build capacity for 1) the Campus Food Gardens to support campus and community food security, 2) the Campus Pantry Teaching Kitchen to offer comprehensive learning opportunities, and 3) expand food literacy both on and off-campus through student and youth empowerment. At the end of this project, there will be an established Campus Food System Education program, UMD Campus Food Garden comprehensive program manual, training modules, and organizational structure to coordinate between the UMD Campus Food Gardens and UMD Campus Pantry.

Member Duties : The CCMA AmeriCorps VISTA member will support the three main goals outlined above to foster a Hunger-Free UMD. At the end of this project, there will be an established Campus Food System Education program, UMD Campus Food Garden comprehensive program manual, training modules, and organizational structure to coordinate between the UMD Campus Food Gardens and UMD Campus Pantry.
