Health & Housing Stability Coordinator VISTA, KCHA UWKC
 
 
 
***To be eligible for this position, you must commit to serve full-time for one year with the King County Housing Authority.*** King County Housing Authority works to provide innovative and effective housing solutions so that people and communities can prosper. The VISTA will work with the Program Manager to develop partnerships and relationships with community providers and partners in health, behavioral health, and social support services. The VISTA member will serve along with a cohort of VISTA members working to fight poverty in King County.

Member Duties : The VISTA will fight poverty by creating accessible links to health and health adjacent services in underserved populations. The Health and Housing Stability Coordinator VISTA will build capacity by assisting with the development of COVID-19 support partnerships and programs with community providers and partners with the goal of impacting the long-term life & stability outcomes of King County Housing Authority residents & the ability to maintain healthy and safe affordable housing during the global pandemic and in the recovery phase. Successful applicants will have a passion for the VISTA experience, effective written and verbal communication skills, experience working in nonprofits or public agencies, excellent organizational and creative problem solving capabilities, emotional intelligence, and project and time management skills. This position requires collaboration, flexibility, and adaptability.
