Organizing Against Racism Support Member
 
 
 
The Organizing Against Racism Support VISTA will ensure there are foundational practices and plans to ensure the group is sustainable. The Organizing Against Racism Alliance of Palm Beach County is a group of committed individuals who have a shared vision of all residents having equitable access to key systems and services. Aspirations include decreasing the various disparity gaps to end poverty. Achievement will increase consistent participation in OAR Meetings and Events by 10%. Addressing inequity within PBC fights the disparity gaps and building social capital. The overarching CPSFL project is about “Creating Access; Building Social Capital”, this effort directly impacts both the access and the building the capacity of social capital.

Member Duties : The VISTA Member will have the below objectives to complete within their year of service: * By June 15th, 2022, the OAR Support Member will development of an OAR Member Database and onboarding process to support the proper record keeping and retention of REI Alumni. * By June 15th, 2022, the OAR Support Member will create a shared calendar of trainings, activities, and workshop opportunities to increase the access to important trainings and workshops aligned with the alliance. * By March 14th, 2023, the OAR Support Member will co-development of a communications and social media plan to increase access to important alliance notifications and updates.
