*MTCC VISTA Women's Business Center Online Community Coord

Women’s online community coordinator - WELL Women's Business Center, funded in part by the Small Business Administration, builds educational, experiential, and entrepreneurial programs for Montana women to create more equitable, prosperous, and collaborative futures for all. The goal of the project is to build the capacity of WELL WBC online members and clients through digital outreach within our existing online community and to other online communities. This role will support the WELL WBC’s mission to serve underserved and underrepresented women in their journey to start or grow a business. 15.4% of Montanans live at or below poverty, compared to 14.8% nationwide. This project will reduce poverty throughout Montana by delivering entrepreneurial programs to support financial freedom, client business coaching, and providing resources to low- income populations across the state of Montana especially rural and indigenous communities. Montana Campus Compact (MTCC) serves as the intermediary for this project. MTCC is a CEO-led coalition of colleges and universities that support civic engagement, service learning, and volunteerism across the state. Every year we place cohorts of full-time, part-time, and summer AmeriCorps members with schools, colleges, nonprofits, and government agencies in Montana. The AmeriCorps projects we facilitate increase educational equity, break down barriers between higher education and community organizations, and address the root causes of poverty in communities across the state.
