Utah Refugee VISTA Project

The Utah Refugee VISTA Project (URVP) hosts VISTA members across major refugee organizations in the Salt Lake Valley. Our VISTAs serve with local nonprofits, international NGOs, and city, county, and government offices. Whether your background is in social sciences, business, data analysis, international policy, or education, we have a position to fit your skills and interests. URVP VISTAs and our VISTA Leader can expect professional development, mentorship, and support from both AmeriCorps and their host organizations. Serving in Salt Lake City, there is always something new to do! From international film festivals to cultural celebrations and abundant access to year-round outdoor recreation, there's something for everyone. Please reach out to Kira DeLong, our current VISTA Program Manager, at kdelong@utah.gov with any questions about the position, AmeriCorps VISTA, or the Utah Refugee VISTA Project at large.
